CANADIAN NATIONAL EXHIBITION

The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), also known as The Exhibition or The Ex, is an annual event that takes place at Exhibition Place in TorontoOntario, Canada, on the third Friday of August leading up to and including Labour Day, the first Monday in September. With approximately 1.6 million visitors each year, the CNE is Canada's largest annual community event and one of the top fairs in North America.[2] The fair is a combination of agricultural exhibits and events, carnival rides and entertainment, live music, food and special events. Special events include the Warriors Day Parade, the Labour Day Parade and the Canadian International Air Show.

This exciting live musical stage show will take you back in time to those memorable days etched in our lives by the tunes and stars of a legendary era. Who knows you just might find yourself on stage with us doing the hand jive. Great Family Entertainment!

Make Your Own Arrangement

Bring a basket and your gloves to this outdoor make-and-take workshop. Learn about some of the varieties of flowers we have on site, as you walk the grounds with our Greenhouse Grower and decide which flowers from our gardens you'd like for your floral arrangement.

From the large state fair zinnias to the smaller more delicate fountain grass plumes, there are so many options for you to choose from. At the conclusion of the walk you will head to the Arbour where you learn techniques on how to best put your arrangement together, in a container provided for you.

Celebrating our 12th year, Sick Rides 4 Sick Kids brings back the traditional difference making car show.

And yes, we are 100% non profit for the 12th year as well!

Vehicle award classes (1st to 3rd) and specialty awards to be announced!

Pre registration is open until June 1st 2024 and is as such: $20/vehicle, $15/bike, Classics (1985 and older) are FREE.

Day of registration is as follows:

$30/Vehicle, $20/bike and $10/Classics.

Charity of choice for monetary donation will be Frontenac Youth Services.

We will again be hosting our pet food and supply drive for Humane Society of Durham Region.

Family friendly as always and in typical SR4SK fashion we will have a raffle that's out of this world and tons of free giveaways!

Soap Making Workshop

Ever wondered what is involved in making your own soap?

Join Clare from Big Beer Soap Company as she covers the chemistry behind soap making in simple terms, including what saponification is as well as the benefits of different oils, and butters and how to use a soap calculator. This class will unlock the secret of soap making, giving you the confidence to make your own soaps at home.
Each student can customize their own batch of soap with scent, dried botanicals and natural additives.

Each student will leave with approximately 6 bars of soap a booklet with everything we have covered in the class including recipes, suppliers and links.

All materials are vegan and included in the price.

Come join us as you learn a new skill in a fun, relaxed environment.

Music in the Square

Pat Bayly Square (55 Bayly Street W.), Ajax’s downtown urban hub, will bring a vibrant energy to the community this summer with free family-friendly concerts, and children’s performances. 

Kicking off on July 16 and running every other Tuesday evening until August 27 from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Pat Bayly Square is your Tuesday night free entertainment destination. Music in the Square features professional entertainment for all ages with genres ranging from classic rock to pop.

Each week, make sure you arrive early to enjoy delicious treats from our snack bar and/or a beverage from a local Durham brewery.

Elevate your mountain biking experience with our focused Minii Mountain Bike Skills Clinics!?

Designed for intermediate-level riders aiming to level up their mountain biking skills, each Clinic is an intensive session focused on a specific skill, maneuver, or obstacle. By concentrating on one element at a time, you can effectively learn, refine, practice, and consolidate the necessary techniques to enhance your confidence, safety, and enjoyment on the trails.

Each Clinic begins with a refresher on the fundamental skills essential for the session ahead. This includes addressing and correcting bad habits in areas such as body positioning, bike-body separation, wheel lifts, hops, timing, and coordination. Once the fundamentals are solidified, we’ll shift gears to focus on the primary skill area. Using our proven curriculum, we’ll roll through step-by-step drills on our portable ramps, obstacles, or applicable trails to ensure comprehensive skill development.

What’s Included in Each Clinic:

• Focused Learning. Each Clinic targets a specific skill, maneuver, or obstacle, allowing for in-depth instruction and practice.
